I feel really bad for Richard and for his family. It seemed like he was well liked by the other workers. On Facebook, his favorite quotes were religious in nature, including, “God IS Love” and “No Guilt in Life, No Fear in Death, this is the Power of Christ in Me,” and a non religious line, “This is America.”Ī former coworker, Rick Christenson, told The Seattle Times: “He was a quiet guy. I will build you up again and you will be rebuilt.” In the article, Russell described himself as laid back and easy going. “I was dead set against it.” Their business contained a sign that read, “I have loved you with an everlasting love. “Our first date, he kind of cornered me into it,” Hannah Russell said to the site. “Hannah and Beebo met at a Campus Crusade for Christ gathering at Southwestern Oregon Community College last year,” the site reported. He was always smiling.”Ī 2012 article in the World described how Russell met his wife. Never knew he was fighting a battle non of us knew about. Richard Russell, Who Spent Time in Alaska, Was Religious & Told Air Traffic Controllers He Was ‘Broken’Ī friend wrote on Facebook, “So heart broken…he was such a kind person to me. (If you need help, you can call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-80.)ġ. On social media, Richard Russell used the name “Beebo Russell.” Although authorities have not released his name, The Seattle Times identified the man as Richard Russell. The incident led to a dramatic and tragic night on August 10, 2018, as aircraft were grounded at Sea-Tac while fighter jets followed the man and air traffic controllers tried unsuccessfully to help him land the aircraft. The man, known as “Rich” in air traffic control audio and dubbed the “sky king” on Twitter, broke hearts on social media as people followed the unauthorized flight before it came to a fatal end. Richard Russell, who dreamed of being in the military and once ran a bakery with his wife, was identified as the suicidal airport ground services worker who stole an airplane from Sea-Tac International Airport and took it on a dramatic unauthorized flight, where it was chased by fighter planes as he attempted “stunts” in the air before the plane crashed. Richard Russell, AKA Rich, the man who took the Sea-Tac plane and crashed it.

He actually loved it a little too much, because after twirling me around to observe his masterpiece, he said, “You should always dress like this when you ride with me!”. The only thing I didn’t like was how constricting the skirt was. It was unique, not expected and completely stood out. That might be because I just walked around and pointed to the apples I wanted Max to pick, but that’s neither here nor there. I actually loved the fact that this outfit wasn’t your classic apple picking outfit. To my surprise gathering apples in this outfit was super easy. So after trying it all on, I said I couldn’t do it and swapped out the top for a plain white-t. Wearing off the shoulder shirts is sometimes uncomfortable, and thinking about wearing one with a tight skirt made me cringe. While I loved his creativity and color coordination, I did voice my concerns about this ensemble’s comfort levels. Max thinks of a baby blue pencil skirt, a white, off the shoulder peasant crop top, my Melody Ehsani pink camo jacket and FILA Mindblower X American Rag sneakers. The colors burgundy, navy, brown, grey, mustard and cream also come to mind. Now when I think of apple picking outfits, I think of knit sweaters, corduroy, boots and chambray shirts. That day we had my family’s annual apple picking trip (to read about my apple pie making experience, click here). But once I pulled the “This is for my blog!” card, he sighed and said “Fine”. He threw out the good ol’ “I don’t want to do this,” and “I don’t have time for this,” cards. Once I reminded Max about our “ husband dress me for a week” experiment, he protested. So besides that concern, I fully trusted in Max’s capabilities and knew that he’d make me look cayuteeee! But seriously, wearing something I don’t like has enough power to throw my whole day off. Usually when I wear something that matches any of those three descriptions, all hell breaks out. Yet even though he has great style, there was still the chance that he’d pick something I didn’t totally love, was too revealing or just uncomfortable. He always looks put together which is a trait I really appreciate! He accessories with watches and hats, always irons his clothes and even cleans his sneakers with a toothbrush. I wasn’t too worried about walking out of the house in something I hated because Max is very stylish and always looks amazing. Intriguing amiright? I was pretty excited to see what revelation I would walk away with. Or it could be a greater revelation, like the person being dressed has control issues and can’t go a day wearing something they don’t like. It could be something small, like the outfit picker hates overalls. In every related article I’ve read, (this one and this one ), the participants learn something new. Would every outfit be a win? What if I don’t like an outfit? Do Max and I have the same style? Would a particular outfit start a fight? Curious indeed. Curiosity is what attracted me to the idea of having my husband dress me for a week. Speaking of psychology: psychology in a pandemic with Martin Seligman, PhD. They tend to be more resilient and recover from setbacks more quickly Rather than becoming overwhelmed and discouraged by negative events, they focus on making positive changes that will improve their lives. Lower stress levels: Optimists not only experience less stress, but they also cope with it better.Longer lifespan: Studies have shown that optimistic people tend to live longer than pessimists.Optimists, on the other hand, are more likely to focus on positive changes they can make that will help them reach their goals. When trying to lose weight, for example, pessimists might give up because they believe diets never work. Higher motivation: Becoming more optimistic can also help you maintain motivation when pursuing goals.Research also suggests that teaching learned optimism techniques can significantly reduce depression. Better mental health: Optimists report higher levels of well-being than pessimists.Better health outcomes: A meta-analysis of 83 studies found that optimism played a significant role in health outcomes for cardiovascular disease, cancer, pain, physical symptoms, and mortality. *Other services provided are one-on-one nutrition counseling, and, coming soon, meal prep parties for you and your closest friends. I like the idea about the logo Bill! Here is what I know about blotter cards. What makes blotter paper good (aside from the ability to absorb ink)? What is good quality blotter paper? Is there a reliable online source for top quality blotter paper? So, actually, I wouldn't mind some input from Those in the Know. In fact, with what I've just written here, I'm tapped. Some papers are thick and stiff, some are softer.īut, that's outside the realm of my knowledge on ink blotters and holders. The paper can be attached to a holder and either stamped down or rocked over the freshly written or drawn ink.Īlthough a blotter holder is pretty useless without blotting paper, blotting paper can be used without a holder.įrom what I've been hearing, there are different types of blotting paper. The blotter holders are the "stamp" type thing you're talking about, I think.īlotters are dense paperish things used to soak up ink (which definitely comes in handy with many Noodler's inks). There are blotters (aka blotter-/blotting paper) and blotter holders. Not a stupid question at all! My knowledge about blotters is minimal, but here goes. I do have the ok to measure its performance. No compromising of my job, no abusing of materials. I got the ok to play with this in any way I may want. No charge, unless we run out of stock and I estimated a $2.50 contribution for paper only may be needed, I'll know more when I count the number of packages of cards I have for my use. So what do you all think? I hope you all give me some input and we can have this done in a week or so. I can plann the desing and once they are done, I can begin printing them and distribute them via USPS. We can come up with a very genuine motto or something. My idea, why don't we get 5 photos of pen paraphenalia (ie Ads, photos, technical pen drawings or personal photos). I took some photos from the reviews and made the following for myself. I use them for checks and some letters I sign. I thought for a moment and came up with the notion that some of you may still use an ink blotter now and then. I used my personal staionary and they looked ok. Well, I got the idea of making a few ink blotters. I will be printing some church bulletins and the like. I have been directed to use it and evaluate it for the use of the unemployment centers state wide and was given the go-ahead to use it for my leisure activities. I have just purchased a huge Color Laser Printer for our department and since I work for a non-profit agency, the State of Texas to be exact, I had tons paper and toner donated. I've taken much knowledge and have met some great people here and I have been feeling bad for not contributing more. I think that it is time I contribute something of meaning here. A lot has changed and some skills have become more viable compared the old ones. EDIT: I'll be updating this guide to match with the current version of the game. So here is my experience on what skills to unlock to get things done fast and quickly. For example, if you were on Foraging level 15, you would be on Logger level 15. In 15 hours of play I've unlocked every achievement and pretty much completed the game. Each Level of Logger grants +4 ☘ Foraging Fortune.Įach level of Foraging grants one level of Logger. Logger is an ability exclusively unlocked by leveling up the Foraging Skill. A Monkey Pet can (at level 100) reduce the cooldown of the Jungle Axe and Treecapitator by up to 50%, which physically doubles the ☯ Foraging Wisdom. The Moil reforge can be used as a cheaper alternative at +1/1/2/2/3/3 ☯ Foraging Wisdom.Getting the Toil reforge on your axe can increase ☯ Foraging Wisdom by 1/2/3/4/5/6% depending on your axe's rarity. If one has spare money, it is recommended to do this since tier 3 potions are rare and do not drop very often from Gifts, and one cannot extend the duration of XP boost potions using redstone. Note that it is possible to upgrade tier 1 Foraging XP Boost Potions to a tier 3 potion while also extending its duration with an Enchanted Redstone Lamp.A Foraging XP Boost Potion (obtained from the Season of Jerry event's Gifts) or a God Potion can increase players' ☯ Foraging Wisdom by up to 20.An Ocelot Pet can increase ☯ Foraging Wisdom by up to 30.These skills include Ammo Crafter, which helps conserve resources by using the same ones to craft additional ammo Disarm Traps, allowing Aloy to reuse traps and tripwires that weren't used in the previous battle and Scavenger+, increasing the chance of getting extra resources from looting machines. The Scavenger skill unlocks multiple other new skills as well. After purchasing Gatherer, buy the Scavenger skill to get extra resources from looting downed machines. This is a necessary skill that will help you unlock better ones on the branching skill tree. Foraging permits wheat, beets, and cotton to spawn more frequently. After acquiring Lure Call, purchase Combat Overdrive and its Plus upgrade so that you can override machines for an indefinite amount of time.Īfter getting Healer, purchase the Herbalist skill to increase the medicine you can carry. Easily the best skill to start with when starting the game is Foraging as the name implies, this skill allows for better resource forging. Forager's Luck is one of the many recurring Skill Trees in the Monster Hunter series. Since Aloy can override machines and turn them into helpful mounts or allies, Lure Call is a very valuable skill. In order to upgrade a structure into the nuclear tier, one must apply Nuclear Machinery into a structure. Structures upgraded into the nuclear tier double in drops. The first three skills in this tree are Lure Call, a whistle that lures enemies to Aloy while she is in stealth mode Healer, which speeds up healing from the medicine pouch and Gatherer, which grants additional resources when foraging. 5 Nuclear Industry Farming Economy Magic Nuclear Nuclear structures are a new type of structure introduced in the recent Nuclear Update. They’re likely to specify a size limit in their guidelines. This usually happens when you are submitting images to competitions or certain websites. This is very useful if you have a file size limitation and don’t care much about the pixel length of the edges in your image. How to Resize an Image in Lightroom Using the Megapixels Option Input the length you need, and Lightroom calculates the other side to keep the photos proportionate. You can resize it to fit the long or short edge in your image. If you are concerned about the size of one of the edges in your image, the best resizing options are the Resize to Fit. How to Resize an Image in Lightroom to Fit the Long Edge or Short Edge Instead, it detects the short and long edges. This option is really useful when batch-resizing landscape and portrait photos. It is quite similar to “Width and Height.” But this time, you write down the measures of the long and short edges of your images instead of width and height. “Dimension” is the second option in the resizing drop-down menu. How to Resize an Image in Lightroom Using Dimension Settings The final image might not be exactly the size you introduced. Lightroom fits the photo to the dimensions as best it can. You can choose pixels, inches, or centimeters in the drop-down menu. Here you can choose the width (W) and height (H). In the drop-down menu, you can choose between several resizing options. Remember that enlarging always decreases the image quality. If you don’t need to enlarge the photo, check the “Don’t Enlarge” box to ensure that Lightroom won’t do it. To resize your image, select the “Resize to Fit” box. How to Resize an Image in Lightroom by Width and Height Its size in inches or centimeters will depend on the resolution. The final image will have the same amount of pixels as the original. In this panel, you can also select the resolution of your image and export it. Today, we focus on “Image Sizing” under File Settings. If you want, you can give your images custom names here. It includes export location, file naming, metadata, and watermarking. The panel shows several options for export. Once you have selected all the images you want to resize, open the Lightroom Export dialog. Hold down Shift + Ctrl (Shift +Command on a Mac), click on the first photo, and select the last one. If the images are next to each other, you can select a group of them. To select multiple images, click on their thumbnail while pressing Ctrl (or Command if you’re using a Mac). Then select the image or images you want to resize. To do so, go to the Grid mode of the Library module (press the shortcut key “G”). You can resize an image in Lightroom when you export it. How to Resize and Image in Lightroom Through Export To exit from the information overview, press “I” one last time. Now you can access some of your image settings such as aperture, shutter speed, focal length, etc. Pixel dimensions are shown in width and height format (white arrow in the image below). The first time you press “I,” the file name, the date, the time you took the photo, and the pixel dimensions, appear. If you press the shortcut key “I” on your keyboard, you start a cycle of information overview. In the Library module, select the image in the Loupe View by clicking on its thumbnail. How to Check Pixel Dimensions in LightroomĪfter you import your image into Lightroom, you can check this easily. But you can solve this problem by resizing your images in Lightroom.īut first, you need to know how many pixels your image has. And social media platforms don’t accept them. The problem with having big files is that they make websites heavy and slow. This causes the file size of your photos to be big. But more pixels also mean more data on the file of the photo. Having a lot of pixels is great when you’re working with large prints. The number of pixels in a photo also depends on the camera model and the number of pixels in the sensor. Most cameras these days capture images with a huge number of pixels (in the millions!). I enlarged this image 11x using Lightroom’s zoom (marked with the pink arrow). When you enlarge a photo, you can see the pixels as little squares. And your photos are a lot of pixels arranged in a specific order. What Do Pixels Have to Do With Resizing Photos?Ī pixel is the smallest piece of information that makes up a digital image. And then, we discuss pixel dimensions and resolutions. After that, we show you different ways to resize an image in Lightroom. Then we show you how to check a photo’s pixel dimensions. How to Resize an Image in Lightroom (Step by Step)īefore we go through the steps, we answer an important question about pixels. |
